The Orchid House is located in the Malham Tarn estate in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The building is also within Malham Tarn National Nature Reserve and is on the route of the long distance footpath, the Pennine Way.

... the spiders are moving!!!
Bolted to the roof of the building, the imposing sight of a 1.5m x 1.5m metal sculptured spider has been designed and installed by Buffalo Design. Rare cave spiders living in Orchid House are being rehoused to a building next door where a viewing facility will be available for passers by... if they dare.
